Clayitnow likes making fairy houses, figurines,, clay flowers, and simple DIY craft ideas with air dry clay/ paper clay (store bought or homemade clay), clay texture paste and waste like glass bottle, jars, cardboard, paper, etc. You can use some of the ideas shared here for oven-baked polymer clay too if you are familiar with that material.

Mini Fairy Shop House Lamps DIY for Christmas Village.
Hello everyone, let's make miniature shop with stunning display piece with lamp for anyone's Christmas village or fairy village. Yeah...we are still having Christmas in July and the fairy builder is in the mood to build any kind of houses with winter theme.
Material:
- Mini Jar (I don't measure my jar but it used to be a chili jar and I like the size)
- cardboard
- LED tealight candle
- Hot glue and hot glue gun
- Glycerin
- Joint compound/ wall putty/ plaster of Paris
- Air dry clay/ paper clay (store bought or DIY)
I make my own air dry clay for this project.
Ingredients:
- 3 parts plaster of Paris
- 1 part plain flour

Is plaster of Paris the same as or will do the same thing as Chalk or diatomaceous earth since thats sold in large bags for a smaller amount than those?
Ehm...I am not sure about that. I've found plaster of Paris at hardware store and use it for my craft since then🙂
